It’s Time for Valentine Crafts with Epiphany Crafts!!

It’s a brand new week and that means time for some new projects!

This week we’re sharing ideas for Valentine’s Day using our Epiphany Crafts Tools!

We have something for everyone from layouts, cards, home decor, Valentines…yes Valentines for  Valentine’s Day and much more!

Kicking off our week Designers Aly Dosdall and Audrey Pettit have some projects to get you in the spirit!

Just One is Never Enough Layout by Designer Aly Dosdall

Epiphany Crafts Supplies:
Shape Studio Tool Round 14 with bubble caps
Frayed Felt Flower setting (I pulled off the top layer)

Other supplies:
Color core cardstock: Core’dinations
Patterned paper: We R Memory Keepers (Love Struck)
Chipboard alpha stickers: American Crafts
Alpha stickers: American Crafts
Ribbon: My Mind’s Eye
Felt flower: Making Memories
Frayed felt flower: Epiphany Crafts
Bottle cap: We R Memory Keepers (Love Struck)
Felt butterfly accent: Sassafrass
Sew Easy tool: We R Memory Keepers
Embroidery floss: DMC
Felt tip pen: Sharpie

Designer Tip: to create the journaling spot I used a “rubbing” technique, placing a chipboard heart under the color core cardstock and sanding the area where the heart was. I then placed the chipboard heart over the sanded area and lightly traced it with a pencil. Then I pierced holes using my sew easy tool following the traced heart shape (you could also use a paper piercer or needle to pierce holes). Then I hand stitched around the heart with embroidery floss.

1. Download heart box template and trace onto patterned paper.Heart Box Template
Cut out, score along the dashed lines and adhere box together at the flaps using strong adhesive. Ink edges with gray ink.

2. Adhere lace trim across the top of the folded box using ribbon adhesive. Apply cardstock sticker banners to the front of the box.

3. Affix a sunburst die cut to the center of the box using foam adhesive. Top with several layers of circles, scalloped circles, and flowers punched from patterned paper. Adhere a seam binding bow, topped by a circular cardstock sticker.

4. Create 3 button embellishments using the Epiphany Crafts Button Heart 20 Studio Tool and Button Heart Caps. Tie one with a hang tag string bow and adhere to the cardstock sticker.

5. Embellish a manila shipping tag with cardstock stickers, patterned paper, and lace. Tie with hang tag string and top with a button made with Epiphany Crafts Button Round 14 Studio Tool and Round Button 14 Caps. Adhere another Heart 20 Button embellishment to the top of the tag. Tuck tag into heart pocket.

6. Cut a butterfly from the Artistic Paper and sponge with pink ink. Create antenna from hang tag string and adhere to the back of the butterfly. Adhere butterfly to a wooden stir stick and top with the final Heart Button embellishment. Tuck into pocket with the tag.

7. Punch holes in side of heart box and thread with tulle. Tie knots in each end to keep the tulle in place.

Fill the pocket with sweets, love notes, or small gifts. Enjoy!

Other products:
Patterned papers (Cosmo Cricket–Odds and Ends)
Rubber stamp (Unity Stamp Co for Jillibean Soup)
Pearlized accent ink (Clearsnap–Banana Custard)
