I love to create pocket pouches, as they are a great place to tuck a little treat. Here I included a packet of hot chocolate mix along with a matching tag for a quick and easy fall gift idea.
To get started, simply seal the back flap of a kraft A2 envelope, and then trim off about 1.5″ from one end. Save the end piece to cut into a 1″ x 3.5″ banner strip. Set aside banner.
Insert the cut end of the envelope part way into the Round 25 Shape Studio Tool and punch to create a notched opening at the top of the pocket.
Cut a block of patterned paper to fit the front of your pocket. Layer with additional papers and printed transparency borders. Machine stitch for added detail, edge paper with brown ink, and adhere block to the front of the envelope.
Continue to embellish the pocket front with a die cut journaling card, the kraft paper banner, and a paper rosette.
Create custom embellishments using the Epiphany Crafts Shape Studio Tools, patterned paper, and cardstock stickers. Add epoxies to the banner strip and the center of the rosette. Add adhesive pearls.
Create a tag from kraft cardstock. Embellish with patterned paper, die cut leaves, and a cardstock sticker. Wrap twine around the top of the tag and tie into a simple bow. Add a custom epoxy made with the Epiphany Crafts Round 14 Shape Studio Tool to the center of the bow. Add transparency bird to the bottom of the pocket. Tuck tag and hot chocolate packet into the pocket.
