Not only are Epiphany Crafts Tools perfect for crafts…scrapbook pages, cards and jewelry…they’re also the perfect tool to use for a special home decor item!
One of my favorite and most versatile tools is the Round 25 Studio Shape Tool. I used this tool to create the background of my project.
To make the background for the wall art gather 3 or 4 patterned papers and use the Round 25 tool to punch circles from each of the papers. I used almost 160 circles to fill an 8×8 inch square of cardstock.
Cut an 8×8 inch piece of white cardstock and begin to add the circles in rows as shown below. Completely cover the cardstock with the circles and trim the edges of the cardstock if needed.
Once the background for the wall art piece is complete you can add embellishments to suit any theme or style of decor. My youngest daughter loves sea shells and anything to do with the beach. This will be added to her room so I cut some simple shell and sea horse die cuts using my Silhouette Cameo and added them to the background with dimensional adhesive.
