Brother’s Come Together with Epiphany Crafts

Hi friends, Grace here to share with you a layout I made using the beautiful Lucky Charm line from American Crafts.

I love how the paper line had many geometric shapes. It was the perfect backdrop for a “boy” layout. I used the Epiphany Crafts Star and Banner punches with the epoxy stickers to add quick and easy banner that fits perfectly for this masculine themed layout.

Instructions:

1. After I had layered all of my background papers, I worked on the banner before putting my pictures. I wanted the banner to go from just under the photo on the left all the way to the right edge of the page. I used a big needle to thread some twine through the paper and then strung it to the right edge of the paper.

2. Next I cut up a piece of paper that’s about 1 ½” in width, folded it in half and then cut out the edges into a notch. I also punched out two pieces of paper into 1 ¾” circles, also folded in half and then placed over the twine with the twine going in between the fold. I placed some adhesive on the inside of the folded papers to close it. I also added some adhesive on the back of the papers to adhere them to the layout.

Then I used the Banner shape tool to create some more banner shapes that I added to the layout. I added two with epoxy stickers to create some dimension to the banner.

3. I then used the Star shape tool and corresponding epoxy stickers to create some dimensional embellishments throughout my layout. I made three of these stars to use as a visual triangle in my layout.

4. I punched out five more stars from different pattern papers in the Lucky Charm line and placed them on the top left corner of the page.

And here’s another look at the layout…

American Crafts Lucky Charm Hybrid Layout with Epiphany Crafts

Hi everyone!

It’s Kate Vickers here today.

I want to share this hybrid layout that I created using the Star 25 Tool and Bubble Caps, the Round 25 Tool and Bubble Caps and the Round 14 Tool and Bubble Caps with American Crafts Lucky Charm papers, embellishments and digital embellishments.

Hello Beautiful

I used the digital embellishments to create printables in the perfect size for the Round 25 Tool. You can learn how I did that in my YouTube video below.

Hello Beautiful Close Up 3

I also used the digital image to create a printable of the hot air balloon to go with the Round 25 Tool and Bubble Caps. The Round 14 Tool happened to coordinate perfectly with one of the 12 x 12 papers from the collection, called ‘Lucky Coin’. I used that paper to create the cute little heart you see here.

Hello Beautiful Close Up 2

I created this YouTube video to show you how to resize the digital images in Photoshop to fit into your Round 25 Tool. I used Photoshop CS5 for this tutorial, but the process is very similar for Photoshop Elements users.

Thanks for visiting!

Dear Lizzy Lucky Charm + Epiphany Crafts

Good Morning blog readers!  It is Malika here again today!  I am going to share with you some pages of a little mini album I am in the process of making.

I am taking the “This is ME” class over at Studio Calico this month and I thought that the Dear Lizzie Lucky Charm paper was a perfect fit for my album.  Even better, I thought I’d use my Epiphany Crafts tools and bubble caps to make my own embellishments.  Here are a couple of ideas of how to incorporate Epiphany Crafts in to your pages!

The cover page is made out of a piece of clear acrylic.  On top, there are scattered sequins mixed with some bubble caps using Round Tool 14.

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

This page uses the Hexagon Tool, a trendy shape at the moment!  I like to cluster my embellishments and as you can see, not all of my hexagons have bubble caps on them.  That is OK.  I like the look of having the variation, plain hexagons vs bubble capped hexagons.

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

Round Tool 14 was also used on this page to highlight some of the chevrons on this awesome patterned paper.  Why not mix and match these patterns even more??

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

There was a star die cut in the Dear Lizzy package that worked perfectly with the Star Tool and bubble cap.  The star bubble cap is just placed in the center of the die cut.  Machine stitching holds the die cut in place and the bubble cap seems to be pretty snug in there.

Round Tool 25 fit perfectly over this camera icon to make a cute little embellishment.

Bubble cap stars and beautiful patterned papers are mixed here to make some more awesome embellishments.  I love how the concentric circles kind of look like a solar system.  The Star Tool was perfect for this page.

Craft in Style with Epiphany Crafts and The Robin’s Nest

Hang onto your seats today!

Not only do we have one incredible project but we have three! Talented Designers Natt Smith, Lisa Wilkinson and Christine Ousley each have unique projects that we think you’re going to love today!

We loved how Christine used our Scallop Tool and Bubble Cap to create the perfect centerpiece for her card…don’t you?

I love making cards because I feel like I can really embellish them. I really dressed up this card with some glass Dew Drops and a Scalloped Circle Embellishment using my Epiphany Crafts Studio Tool

user posted image

I first cut some background paper from The Robin’s Nest. I wanted to pull the yellow’s and blue’s into the rest of the card, so I cut out a doily with my Silhouette using a file from Lori Whitlock and then embellished it with tiny Dew Drops in blue and Raindrops in white from The Robin’s Nest. I love the sparkle that it added to my card. I also inked the edges with Weathered Wood Distress Ink by Tim Holtz.

Then I cut out a 3D flower from another digital die cut file from Lori Whitlock and paper from The Robin’s Nest. I inked all of the pieces with Weathered Wood and Mustard Seed Distress Ink by Tim Holtz.

The focal point is my favorite and really ties it all together. I punched out a piece of the patterned paper in just the right place using my Epiphany Crafts Scalloped Round Studio Tool and capped it with a clear bubble top.

Try adding some dimension to your next card. It’s really fun and really makes an impact.

Hello everyone! Today I have a fun card to share with you !
This week we are doing something fun with Robin’s Nest scrapbooking supplies.

It took me a while to think of what I could do with all the cute dewdrop in a bottle. I decided on using diamond shape dew drops to add some accent into a card.

Supplies list.

- Epiphany Crafts star tools
- Epiphany Crafts star epoxy
- Robins nest white and clear dewdrop diamond shape.
- Pattern papers
- Silhouette diecut machine.

user posted image

On this card I decide to use a lot of pattern paper without breaking them by plain paper. It might look a bit busy but that’s the keys to make they have more details on a simple card.

All I did with this card was cover card base with dark blue pattern paper.

Then adhere diecut sheet that I cut out onto it with foam adhesive.

Add stripe of glue on top right of a card and the arrange dew drop diamond shape on to it by clear and pearl.

here is the final look !

Crafty a Bit of Fun with Pinterest and Epiphany Crafts

If you do Pinterest like I do, you have scores of ideas pinned away for later.

I decided to browse my Crafty Inspiration board for a fun idea and settled on this one–a magnetic tic-tac-toe game in an Altoids tin.

user posted image

http://scrapmatters.com/news_sm/heatherw/s…1/sept11_p3.htm

Here is my take on this pin:

user posted image

Slap some washi tape and some patterned paper on an Altoids tin and you have the perfect mini receptacle for a magnetic tic-tac-toe game. Lemme tell ya, washi tape has made altering Altoids tins SO much easier. Just wrap it around the box and fold over the ends. So easy!

user posted image

Glossy Accents is a fantastic adhesive for adhering metal objects. I adhered some small, super strong magnets to the back of each game piece. Be careful! Those little suckers will attach to anything metal. I had to re-attach some magnets more than once.

user posted image

I created the tic-tac-toe markers using my EC Round 14 tool and bubble caps. I made sure to choose patterns for the markers that my kids (ages 6 and 8) wouldn’t fight over them.

user posted image

Using a craft knife, I trimmed some washi tape to make the lines for the tic-tac-toe board on the inside of the lid.

Now, like another car activity, it is only a matter of time before a fight breaks out and/or parts get lost.

Happy gaming!

We all love celebrating special occasions, especially birthdays!

You can see a 7 gypsies ticket holder was used and embellished with a photo and assorted journal tags. Then simply create your own celebrate banner using epiphany crafts star 25 and round 14 tool setters as punches. Next source some letters by punching, cutting, etc.

Machine stitched them together and adhere to kebabs sticks. Finish off by adding a few more embellishments. And simply have on display for all to see.

Here is an sweet card with a pocket, celebrating love from Designer Lisa Wilkinson.

This card is created on a base of a glassine sack, which acts for a pocket to hold the tag with the sentiment. Next, papers and a pretty card were stitched together with a small shipping tag, then adhered to the glassine sack.

Next embellishments and letter stickers spelling “celebrate” were added to finish the card off. The pennant tool added the perfect little touch to the top of the design and pulled the celebrate theme together.

A New Year brings with it a whole bunch of birthdays that need celebrating! I created a fun and hip birthday card and tag that are not too frilly and fancy–perfect for teens or the man in your life. The contrasting colors of the stars and sentiment really pop on the card. The sentiment is created with alpha stickers and would be really easy to customize for any occasion. The Epiphany Crafts star tool makes great custom embellishments for birthday cards.

Celebrate in 2013 with Epiphany Crafts!

How do you Celebrate your 2013 ?

For me I just celebrate by enjoying all the little simple things that has gone by everyday in life.

For me ” simple ” is always the key in life.

So today I have a home decor project that can simply make your house feeling more 2013.

On this project I was thinking about how to make a decor for celebrating 2013.

Let’s take a look.

How I crate this is using my Silhouette Cameo to cut a “Hello 2013″ design that I designed.

Then adhere on top of the pattern paper.

Added Epiphany Crafts pennant epoxy that I use on colorful chevron paper pattern.

Here’s the complete look.

Birthday Calendar by Lisa Wilkinson
I decided to create a birthday calendar for a last minute gift. I started with 12 glassine sacks and decorated them with a month. cut from patterned paper, then a scalloped circle and circle layered together. I finished each of them off with either a button or bubble cap. I then printed a calendar for the inside that had circles to add numbers and lines to add names for the birthdays of each month. I layered and stitched them onto patterned paper. I finished off the inserts with either a bubble cap or piece of ribbon.

I used a frame that we have on our mantle that we use for seasonal décor and added some clothes pins to the sides, with Helmar 450 Quick Dry, then added twine and the bags with mini wooden clothes pins.

I made a title for the top using patterned papers, layered and punched and then placed a large bubble cap over the top. I used Zap Dots to secure the bubbles to the top of the frame.
