One Word Journal by Designer Robyn Schaub

This handmade journal was created from chipboard, patterned cardstock and graph paper — along with sayings found on Pinterest that relate to the designer’s One Little Word for 2012: Positivity. The Round 25s serve as tabs for the different sections of the journal and make it easy to flip to the next section. One of the pages is an envelope, and the Round 25 is used as a grip on the insert.

Valentine Heart Pockets by Designer Gina Lideros

Designer Tip* fun tip: I used the heart 25 shape studio tool as a punch to punch out several hearts to use as confetti. I stitched up the side of these pockets and left the tops open so that they can be used to fill with sweet treats, or love notes.

Love Rocks by Designer Julie Walton

Epiphany Crafts Supplies:

Epiphany Crafts Studio Shape 14 and 25 Heart Tools and Epoxies; Heart 20 Button

This is a fun project and very inexpensive to create!
I used rocks that I found on the beach during a recent visit.
Painted them white.
Added paper accents, alphas and rub ons.
Applied Glossy Accents and then pressed in the epoxies and buttons while still wet.

The larger rock stands up on its own which is great for a Valentines display, the smaller rocks are great for paperweights on your desk. This is a great craft for kids and think outside of Valentine’s Day…Father’s Day!!

We’d like to make your week a bit more special by offering to you a chance to win our

Epiphany Crafts Studio Shape Button Tool plus we’ll include the coordinating Heart Shape Buttons!!

It’s easy….simply post a comment here today and we’ll select one random winner next Monday!

Candleholders by Designer Linda Auclair

These quick and easy candleholders are the perfect handmade gift! For less than $10, you can easily make a pair of them for a great last minute gift.

Epiphany Crafts Supplies:

Epiphany Crafts Round 14 Tool, Bubble Caps and Charms

Other Supplies:
clear glass candlestick (I picked mine up at Dollar Tree)
clear glass candle globe
small jingle bells
E6000 glue
gold-toned eye pin (from jewelry making section of your craft store)
jump rings
ribbon (I used American Crafts)
wired holly garland (optional)
patterned paper scraps
needle-nose pliers

Instructions:

1. Apply an even ring of glue around the top of the candlestick and glue to the bottom of each of of the clear glass globes. Let dry overnight. E6000 glue rocks, but it is pretty smelly, so make sure that you use it in a well-ventilated room.

2. Thread 3 small jingle bells on the eye pin, and curl the end to form a loop.

3. Using the Epiphany Crafts tool, create two Round 14 epoxies and glue to charms.

3. Thread the jingle bells and the round charm onto the jump ring.

4. Tie the ribbon in a bow around the stem of the candleholder, and attach the charm and bells.

5. If desired, create a loop of the wired garland and insert into candle globes. Remove garland before burning candle, or place candles in a votive holder inside the candle globes before lighting to avoid a fire hazard.

Joy Ornament
Designer: Linda Auclair

Spool ornaments are all the rage this holiday season, and here is my take on the design using Epiphany Crafts custom buttons and epoxies to put an fun and individual twist on the traditional design.

Epiphany Crafts Supplies:
Epiphany Crafts Button 14

Epiphany Crafts Scalloped Circle 25

Other Materials used:

3/4 inch wooden spool

Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist (Sweet Clover)

Tattered Angels Glimmer Must (Pearl)

Echo Park Paper “Merry Christmas” collection paper (Christmas Carol)

October Afternoon Good Cheer collection paper (Sleigh Bells)

small jingle bell

Baker’s Twine by The Twinery in Marichino

Glimmer alphabet letters by Making Memories

Fiskars craft drill

Instructions:

1. Paint the wooden spool with the Glimmer Glam. Allow to dry.

2. Spray a 3/4 inch by 6 inch length of the Christmas Carol paper with the Glimmer Mists. Allow to dry.

3. Wrap the spool with the Christmas Carol patterned paper, adhering with liquid glue.

4. Create 2 Scalloped Circle epoxies with the blue side of the Sleigh Bells paper. Create 2 buttons with the red side of the Sleigh Bells.

5. Using the smallest drill bit, drill two small holes through both the Scalloped Circle epoxies.

6. Assemble the ornament by passing a needle threaded with the twine through one hole of the scalloped circle, then through one of the button holes, then through the loop of the jingle bell, and then back through the button and scalloped circle in turn. Pass both ends through the spool, and repeat the action on one button hole at a time with each end of the twine, and tie at the top.

7. Adhere letter stickers to Christmas Carol patterned paper.

8. Hang and enjoy!
