Thanks a Bunch Note Cards! & Spring Giveaway

Hello …are you ready for Easter?

I have a couple of easy peasy treat bags for you today. I made these more as a Spring treat rather than Easter just for something a little different.

Always good to have a little thank-you tucked away for a quick gift. I started with some Cath Kidston style bags and dressed them up simply with stamped tags, ribbons, paper fringe I made by hand, and a little washi tape.

The best part though is the adorable felt flowers I topped off with some Epiphany Crafts vintage settings with the circle 14 bubble caps nestled inside. Sooo cottagey!

Such a lovely and unique way to make something your own. Hope you enjoy! hugs, cherry

This week Epiphany Crafts has paired up with Bella Blvd. to bring you some totally cute crafty goodness. For my project, I created a gift bag and coordinating mini card. I am totally digging on the pink/navy blue combo, too. Be sure to stick around for a brief photo tutorial on how to create your own gift bag.

user posted image

To create the bag handles, I added some eyelets to the top of the bag and threaded them with ribbon. I tied knots on the ends of the ribbon to secure them to the bag.

user posted image

I embellished the gift bag with EC vintage settings and round 14 bubble caps. I added a few rhinestones for some extra sparkle.

user posted image

I created a coordinating mini card using the same EC vintage setting and round 14 bubble cap.

Here is an easy way to create a gift bag that requires no special tools–just a piece of paper and some adhesive.

user posted image

1. Make a cylinder out of a piece of paper. The size of the paper depends on the size bag you want. My paper was 12″x6.5″.

2. Create creases in the cylinder to create a rectangle shape.

3. Fold in the sides of the bag to create pleats.

4. Fold up the bottom of the bag approx. 1 1/4″. This creates a crease to help you fold the bottom of the bag.

5-6. Fold the bottom of the bag together like you would wrap a present. Secure with adhesive.

7. Now you have the beginning of a cute little gift bag!

Have a fantastic weekend!

Take A Note About Epiphany Crafts!

I’m so excited about using my Epiphany Crafts tools and accessories with the brand new Kiss Me Collection from Bella Blvd. The colors in the collection just make me happy so I wanted to make something for my desk so I that I could see them all of the time.

user posted image

I love notebooks. For someone who does most everything on a computer and a phone, using a steno pad may seem a bit antiquated. But there is something about sketching and writing my ideas on paper that really appeals to me. So I made a decorated notebook that has a steno pad inside and a matching Post It Note holder.

user posted image

I covered the steno pad with navy blue cardstock. Then I decorated it with the lovely Kiss Me paper.

user posted image

I cut out the flower using my Silhouette Cameo and a Lori Whitlock file and punched the center using my Epiphany Crafts Round Button Studio Tool and tied a bow with twine.

user posted image

The post it note holder was a fun find and a perfect companion to my notebook. I cut the file using my Silhouette Cameo and a file from A Little Hut.

user posted image

I used the Bella Blvd Kiss Me paper to decorate the base and then broke out my favorite Epiphany Crafts Studio Tool, the Flower Button.

user posted image

I punched three flowers for each side of the note holder. I love how they look with the fun paper behind them. The buttons have adhesive on one side and so the paper sticks to it while the shape is punched out.

Thanks for stopping by the blog and have a wonderful day!

Hi there Cherry here to share some fun Bella Blvd and Epiphany Craft goodies. I love this collection from Bella Blvd. So whimsical. I had to make a couple of Valentines with it. I challenged myself to keep it cas…which is usually not my style. Kinda like the outcome though! I played with the shapes and fussy cut a few out for the tree and layered them with the heart and size 14 circle bubblecaps for fun. The other card I fussy cut the sentiment out and paired it with the same shapes and several of the pattern papers for interest. Hope you enjoy! Thanks for letting me share. cherry

Valentine Hugs from Epiphany Crafts!

Valentine’s Day is almost here! We want to share with a couple more ideas for you to make for that special someone.

I have created a couple of cards. I love simple cards and the Epiphany Crafts buttons and bubble caps give them that something extra without a lot of bulk. They are the perfect complement to ribbons, borders, and flowers.

user posted image

I used Bella Blvd’s Lovely Collection to make these cards. I cut a paper flower and used the Epiphany Crafts Studio Tool Heart 25 to create the center for it. I love that I can match the paper of the heart with the whole project.

user posted image

On my second card, I used the Epiphany Crafts Studio Tool Button Flower to create the accent on the ribbon.

user posted image

My last project is a decorated glassine bag, perfect for gift cards. I used Lovely again and cut out the elephant from the cutups.

user posted image

Then I made some grass for him to stand on and added some button flowers to decorate the grass.

Thanks for stopping by. I think I’m all ready for Valentine’s Day, are you?

Epiphany Crafts Brings Together Memories with Tombow

Butterfly Frame by Amanda Jones

Epiphany Crafts Supplies:

Epiphany Crafts Pennant and Flower Button tools and bubble caps

Other Supplies:
Tombow adhesives
Vellum, cardstock, white ribbon and mists.

user posted image

I gathered a frame, white cardstock to fit inside, a sheet of white-on-white striped vellum and my Tombow adhesives. I also grabbed 3 glimmer mists – you could substitute these for any inks, stains or mists.

user posted image

I coloured my vellum by spritzing with mists and blended the colour gently with a paper towel. I then punched out several butterfly shapes from the vellum. Spritzing the vellum with mists curles the vellum and gives the buterflies a nice amount of dimension.

user posted image

I mounted the white card inside the frame, and usig the Tombow vellum runner I adhered a group of butterflies in the bottom right corner of the frame.

user posted image

user posted image

Using leftover pieces of vellum I created 3 banner pieces and a flower button using my Epiphany Crafts tools and bubble caps.

user posted image

user posted image

I then adhered a strip of white seam binding to the top left corner of the frame and added a bow on top.

user posted image

Finally I topped the centre of the bow with the button I had created and added my banner pieces below the ribbon.
