Flowers For Mom

Hello!! This is Jennie.

Mother’s Day is almost here! But don’t worry because this week we have lots of ideas for those amazing ladies in your life!

I’ve been wanting to made one of these flower pots for a while and since my mom loves all things girly I figured this would be the perfect time to make one. I left the bottom pretty bare since the top is really full and busy.

Mother's Day

I used some dies and cuts from my Cricut for the flowers on my bouquet. I curled some flowers on the top to give them some dimension and top them off with the Shape Studio Tool Round 14, Shape Studio Tool Flower 25 and some pearls.

Mother's Day1

My favorite part is that you can hide the message inside the pot.

Supplies:

Shape Studio Tool Flower 25

Fabric Spring Flowers and Sweet Easter Bunnies

If you’re in need of a sweet Easter basket, look at some of the small boxes you might have laying around or holding things. Dressing one up with some Epiphany Crafts goodies will bring it new life!

I upcycled an empty stationery box to make this little Easter basket. The box was already covered in springy orange stripes, so all it needed was a few embellishments.

I used the Epiphany Crafts round 14 tool to create a center for my fabric flower. I love the green on green!

I also added a tag and pink paper grass. Of course, the box needed to be filled with one of my favorite Easter treats – Reese’s Peanut Butter Eggs!

A Trio of Easter Basket Treats!

user posted image

I made a trio of miniature treat baskets out of paper treat cups, a strip of patterned paper, and some twine. So quick! So easy! And as an added bonus, they are a hit with the kids. My kids have been begging for these as soon as they saw them. I think they would make a fantastic party favor for a classroom party.

user posted image

I stapled a strips of patterned paper to the treat cups and wrapped each with twine. The twine gives the paper cups the appearance of a woven basket.

user posted image

I embellished this basket with a my EC round 25 tool. This little chickie is telling a fun joke!

I used my EC round button 14 tool to accent the Happy Easter banner on this treat cup.

Sweet Treats and Celebrations with Epiphany Crafts!

It’s nearly here - Valentine’s Day! Why not make a little something for your sweethearts.

It’s super easy – here’s what Design Team Member Leeann Pearce made, she filled little Kraft boxes with some chocolates and embellished each one with pattern papers and used epiphany crafts buttons, vintage setters, silver charm setters and assorted bubble caps.

She almost made a negative heart card and filled the heart with an assortment of Epiphany crafts vintage charms, brads and bubble caps. She finished by hand stitching around the heart which made it pop.

I added the flower shape, too. To fill in smaller spaces, I used mist, punches, rhinestones and sequins.

Hi, Fleur here. I have a confession…I am addicted to Pinterest (I know I am not the only one).

I tend to spend way too much time looking at all the amazing projects and photos.

I found these cute little Matchboxes on Pinterest and knew I wanted to make some for Valentine’s Day.

I also found some really cute button bookmarks and bobbypins to make for a little gift inside the box.

Here is what I created:

Epiphany Crafts Round 14 Button Studio Tool and Round 14 Clear Button Cap
Cardstock: Kraft Outlet
Patterned Paper: Crate Paper, My Little Shoebox
Trim: Papertrey Ink, Craft Supply

Recycled Corrugated Cardboard

Pinterest is a constant source of inspiration for me. I could spend hours each day pouring over all of the amazing projects and photos there. For my frame, I was inspired by this gorgeous project.

user posted image

SourcePinterest

I was really drawn to the graphic design and repetition of all the hearts, and that was the drawing board for my frame. To start, cut 1″ squares of patterned paper and arrange them into a 4×6″ panel. Machine stitch the edges where each square intersects.

Using the Heart 25 Shape Studio Tool as a paper punch, create heart shapes for each square, save one. Apply a small dot of adhesive in the center of each heart, place them on the background panel, and machine stitch in place. Lightly pull up on the edges of each heart to create dimension.

user posted image

Cut patterns from paper to create the February 14 title. Adhere the number 14 to the empty square and cover with a Square 25 Clear Bubble Cap. Affix foam adhesive on the back of the February strip and adhere to the top left side of the panel.

Layer panel onto cardstock, and then onto a larger mat of patterned paper. Affix to recycled corrugated cardboard that has been lightly washed with white paint.

Feltie Fabric Tree by Audrey Pettit

Therm O Web Supplies:
Epiphany Crafts Round 14 Button Studio Tool and Round 14 Button Caps
Epiphany Crafts Round 20 Button Studio Tool and Round 20 Button Caps

Other Supplies:
Patterned Paper: Simple Stories
Ink: Clearsnap
Floss: DMC
Felt, Wool Fabric, Rusty Bells, Polyfill Stuffing

I love to make soft felt plushies for holiday gifts. They look great tied onto a package or stuffed into a stocking, and make a cute little bowl filler or ornament for a tree. Better yet, they are quick and easy to create, making them perfect for those last minute gift ideas.

user posted image

1. Create a triangle template to use as the tree base using a die cut you may have, or a free pattern downloaded from the internet, like my pattern here. Cut template out, pin onto green fabric and cut two triangles per tree. Cut two small squares from brown felt.

2. Lay Round 14 and Round 20 buttons loosely onto one of the cut trees to determine how many of each size you would like on your tree. Create buttons using the Button Studio Tools and patterned paper of your choice. Ink edges of each button with brown ink.

3. Stitch buttons onto one tree using embroidery floss.

4. Stitch the brown squares together, leaving an opening at the top. Fill with stuffing, and pin trunk between the two green triangles. Hand Stitch around the edge of the tree, leaving enough of an opening to fill the tree with stuffing before stitching closed.

5. Stitch bells onto top of tree. Add hanger if desired.

user posted image

Yes, just like every year, I am scrambling for those last minute gift items. Maybe you are too and can use the two ideas that I have to show you today.

My first project is actually a gift tag and gift rolled up into one. The gift is the necklace made with the Epiphany Crafts Studio Shape Square Tool and the Metal Charms Double Square Jewelry Settings plus a square bubble cap.

user posted image

I punched out a square from a piece of patterned paper. Then from the same collection I adhered a small sticker letter for their initial. All that got placed in the metal charm. Then I tied a piece of jute string to create the necklace. Talk about a fast project and something that I know that they will love.

user posted image

My second gift idea is for a young daughter or maybe a niece. Little girls love big bows so I made this one from some May Arts ribbon but you could definitely buy a premade bow if you don’t want to make your own. Then I embellished it with the Epiphany Crafts Jewelry Round Metal Settings which really made the bow special.

user posted image

Using the Epiphany Crafts Studio Round Tool, I punched a snowflake from a piece of patterned paper and topped it with a round bubble cap. Then I adhered the stack in the Epiphany Crafts Round Metal Settings. You can see how beautiful the setting is in this close up picture. Then I just used some hot glue to adhere the metal piece to the bow.

user posted image

Thanks for stopping by. I hope some of these last minute gifts will be the perfect project for you this week. Both really just take minutes to create with the Epiphany Crafts tools and embellishments and even better than that, they are truly customizable for the person you are making them for. Have a wonderful holiday season.

As I was working on my December Daily album for the upcoming holiday, a couple of my girls asked if I could make an album for them as well. When I received the Handmade Holiday collection from Simple Stories I knew it would work perfectly with Lori Whitlock’s 3×3 Box Page Mini Album files to create a December Daily that all of my kids could use!

user posted image

The file includes a box that holds three of the 5 page mini albums so I used my Silhouette to cut two of the boxes and five of the 5 page albums. Since I had space for an additional album, but didn’t need it, I hand cut a box to fit the extra space.

user posted image

The additional box was the perfect place to store additional journaling cards for the kids to use when needed.

user posted image

For each of the albums and box I adhered button stickers from the Handmade Holiday Collection to the Round 14 Bubble Caps and added them to the flaps. I also used the small round number stickers from the collection with the bubble caps to label each page so the kids could locate each of the 25 days quickly and easily.

user posted image

Here are a few of the pages. They are all very similar and I kept them simple and easy for the kids to use. I added a few cards to each page for the kids to use, but there is plenty of space for additional journaling cards and any photos they want to include for each day.

Christmas Album by Christina Hereen

My kids are excited to get started and I can’t wait to see what they add to the album each day. I know that each of the kids won’t participate each day, but the box style pages of the album will work great to hold all the photos and journaling cards whether one or all four kids add to the album on each of the days.
