Layouts Live and Laugh With Epiphany Crafts!

Designers Ginny Hughes and Amanda Jones Robinson are well known for their amazing layouts. The attention to detail and elements that they bring together make them standout.

Today is the perfect example once again. Ginny wows us with her Epiphany Crafts Pennant Banner (and love the alphabet sticker journaling!!) Amanda used the Pennant Tool as well as the Oval! Showing why the Oval is just as smart of a tool to own! Not only great for jewelry but layouts too!

Holy cow! Aren’t these colors fabulous? I sewed some double sided ribbon to the cover to make a bow closure. So perfect for a summer travel album!

The little ladybugs are made using Epiphany Crafts Shape Studio Round 14 Tool and matching bubble caps. I drew a line and dots on some paper and then made the embellishment. The head is a regular ol’ paper punch with a couple of white dots. So easy!

So much wonderful color I can hardly stand it!

My brain favors order and symmetry, but I was surprisingly content with the randomness of the contents. I was so pleased I whipped up another for my son with Authentique’s Loyal Collection.

Aren’t those travel albums great?! Think of all the ideas for how you too can use a smaller album to capture a special trip, event or celebration in your life!

Adhesive: Glue Arts

1. Using a dry-brush technique, paint a chipboard frame white, then add streaks of lime green over the white. Edge chipboard with brown ink and allow to dry.

2. Cover the front of a large shipping tag with patterned papers. Use two prints for the tag, and a thin strip of contrasting paper for the left edge. Wrap twine around the middle where the two patterns meet. Edge tag with green paint.

3. Edge cardstock sticker with green paint and adhere to the chipboard frame using foam adhesive for dimension. Adhere chipboard to the center of the tag with more foam adhesive.

4. Lightly paint the edges of a Cherry Frayed Flower with green paint and adhere to the bottom of the chipboard frame. Fussy cut leaves from the patterned paper, edge with brown ink, and adhere to both sides of the felt flower.

5. Create button and bubble cap embellishments using the Epiphany Crafts Studio Tools and bits of the orange flowers from the patterned paper.

6. Adhere button cap to the top of the chipboard frame, along with two more fussy cut patterned paper leaves. Edge cardstock sticker words with green paint and affix to the top of the tag. Tie lace through tag top.

7. Adhere bubble cap embellishment to the center of the felt flower. Cut a thin strip of ledger-print cardstock sticker, edge with green paint, and affix to the bottom of the tag.
