Mother’s Day Gift Card Holders

Hi Fleur here.  With Mother’s Day just a few days away I wanted to make some special gift card holders for the Mom’s in my life.

MothersDayGiftCardHoldersAll3

For the first gift card holder I cut this cute little purse using my Silhouette and added some fun little flower embellishments using the Epiphany Crafts Shape Studio Tool Flower 25 and the coordinating bubble caps.

MothersDayGiftCardHolders1

To make the flowers punch several of the flower shapes and layer them together covering the top layer with the bubble cap.

For the second gift card holder I cut a little gift pouch and added some fun washi strips and clothespins.

I also added a coordinating button using the Epiphany Crafts Button Studio Round 20.

For the third gift box I cut a matchbox shape and added a butterfly with a clothespin.

MothersDayGiftCardHolders3

I used the Epiphany Crafts Brad Settings Round 14 to make a little pull handle for the drawer.

For my last gift card holder I cut a file folder shape and glued the sides together to make a pocket.

I added the Epiphany Crafts Rhinestone Charm Square 25 to finish this holder off.

Mother’s Day Treats with Epiphany Crafts

Hi there! Jennifer here, and we have been celebrating Mother’s Day here on the Epiphany Crafts blog.

Today I’ve created a necklace and card to share with you using the Epiphany Crafts Shape Studio Round Tool and Bubble Caps.

I used the Round 25 Tool along with one of the rhinestone charms to make a necklace, then slipped it into a small jewelry box.

And here’s the card to go with! I kept the colors nice and soft and added a flower. I also added some machine stitching to give the card some texture.

Thanks so much for stopping by today!

A Special Mother’s Day Gift

Over the past few years, it has become a tradition that I make flower brooches for my mom and mother-in-law for Mother’s Day.

This year’s corsages wouldn’t be complete without Epiphany Crafts!

1 with border and sig

To make this corsage, first make or purchase a large, ruffly flower. Use the oval tool to create an epoxy and set it in an oval setting. I chose to spray-paint my setting gold, but the original silver is very pretty, too. Attach the oval to the center of your flower.

3 with border

Make or purchase a fabric yo-yo flower. Use the round 14 tool to create an epoxy, then set it in a brad setting. Again, I spray-painted my brad gold. Attach brad to center of yo-yo.

2 with border

Layer your flowers on a strip of ribbon, adding any other flowers, leaves or embellishments you would like. Adhere everything securely together. I use my trusty hot glue gun for this. When finished, attach a brooch pin/clip to the back side.

4 with border

Happy Mother’s Day!

And here’s a quick share on the easy way to recreate my bracelet…

photo bracelet how to (1)

First you’ll need to pick a photo to use for the charms. I chose a print from our family’s photo session, two years ago. You need to pick small photos or at least the faces of your family members are small enough to fit into the bubble stickers. I also bought a plain bracelet kit from Wal-Mart that have small rings that let me connect my charms to the bracelet chain.

photo bracelet how to (2)

Then you’ll punch out square shapes from the photo while adhering them onto the bubble stickers at the same time. *You might have to trim your photos a bit around the images so that you can fit the faces perfectly inside the square.

photo bracelet how to (3)

The last is adhering the square bubbles inside the metal charms and then using the rings to adhere the charms onto the bracelet.

I hope you enjoyed my share today and I wish all of the mothers out there a very happy Mother’s day.

Till next time. – Grace

Mother’s Day Cards with a Bit of Flair

Hi everyone! It’s Kate Vickers here today sharing two Mother’s Day cards that I made for my Mom and my Mother-In-Law.

I created these cards using Crate Paper’s Maggie Holmes collection.

Love-You-Mom

I used the Epiphany Crafts Shape Studio Tool Flower 25 and Bubble Caps to create the centre of the flower. The flower itself was created using plain white tissue paper which I die cut multiple layers of using a die from Spellbinders / Heartfelt Creations. I misted the flower with Heidi Swapp Color Shine in Primrose. I added a little rhinestone on top for an extra accent.

Love-You-Mom-Close-Up

I used the Epiphany Crafts Shape Studio Scalloped 20 and the Heart 25 tools and Bubble Caps on this card.

Mother-Love-You-Always

I went with more flowers for this card. The pink flower is from Prima. It originally had a pearl in the centre, which I removed.  I added the butterfly accent created with the Scallop 20 Tool and Bubble Cap in its place. The tulle flower is from Recollections (Michael’s) and it also originally had something different in the centre. I added the Heart 25 Bubble cap to finish it off. I applied rhinestones on top of both bubble caps for some extra bling.

Mother-Love-You-Always-Close-Up

Thanks for visiting today! Happy Mother’s Day to all of the Moms out there! :)
